James M. Weisbrodt

President and Chief Operating Officer

James WeisbrodtAs President & Chief Operating Officer for The Burks Companies, James M. Weisbrodt oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations at TBC and enjoys remaining in close contact with each of TBC’s clients. He is actively engaged in all contract start-ups and specialty projects, as well as leading product/equipment research initiatives that improve overall operating efficiencies, productivity and quality of service levels.

Mr. Weisbrodt spent his formative years working as a sales/marketing executive at Zellerbach, a national distribution firm, where he was responsible for negotiating multiple national purchasing agreements on behalf of major hotel chains, building service contractors, Fortune 100 firms, and healthcare-focused group purchasing organizations. He founded Partners Property Maintenance in 1992, a firm specializing in servicing 4 and 5 Diamond Hotels and Resort properties including The Cloister, Sea Island, The Four Seasons, and several Ritz-Carlton Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Weisbrodt successfully guided his company, Partners Property Maintenance, Inc., along with its clients and employees through a merger with TBC in 1998. Following this merger, Mr. Weisbrodt initially focused on new-business development and expansion opportunities for all TBC business units, prior to being named COO in 2012, and subsequently being named President in 2019.

A graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, he brings more than 30 years of operations, quality-assurance and business-development experience within the facilities management industry.
